We are the Baton Rouge Barbarians, a non-profit organization that uses a rugby field to promote and build strength, agility, and friendship among women. We are officially the barbarians, but our friends call us the "barbies".

We are the Baton Rouge Barbarians, an athletic organization that uses a rugby field to promote and build strength, agility and friendship among women. Our friends like to call us "the Barbies", which incidentally continues to fool our opponents. Our first practice was held on December 1st, 2005, making us one of the youngest women's rugby clubs in the country.
Our team colors are black, white and pink. While we are an equal opportunity club, you must be a female over the age of 18 with health insurance to play. We encourage women of all experience levels to do the one thing that makes us happy . . . PLAY!!! Learn more about the womens team _....
